Foundation
A foundation, not a licence vendor
The AI Business Center Foundation (AIBC) is a think tank and advisory partner that helps the boards of construction, industrial and technical-services companies adopt artificial intelligence so that it delivers measurable results and builds competitive advantage.
Why the Foundation was established
The construction and industrial sectors are entering a technological shift without ready-made answers. Companies must decide at the same time what to invest in, prepare their people for new tasks, stay within the rules and find funding. Today each of these decisions is taken under pressure from vendors who have their own interest in the outcome.
The AI Business Center Foundation was established so that the board has someone on its side who earns nothing from licences or software implementations. The Foundation is vendor-neutral: we do not sell licences or implementations. We act on the board’s side — we help choose the contractor, prepare requirements and criteria, run the procurement procedure or tender, and assess bids and contractor quality. The board makes the decision. What we deliver is method, assessment, process descriptions, definitions of measures and measurement.
How we work
We say what not to do. Not every AI implementation pays off. The assessment we carry out may end with the recommendation “stop”, and when it does, we say so plainly.
We bring order, not alarm. We treat the rules on artificial intelligence as a timetable, not a threat. We distinguish what applies today from what has a date, and from what the law does not require.
Figures have a source. Every figure we publish carries the name of its source and the year. We give our own indicators as ranges, confirmed in the audit of a specific process.
Competence stays in the company. We work so that, once the project ends, the company maintains the standard itself. This role is taken on by company employees we have trained, the process translators.
What we do
Our work is founded on semantic transformation: organising a company’s names, processes and data so that people, language models and board reports understand them the same way. Around it we provide AI audit and strategy, preparation for the AI Act and ESG, the AIBC Certification Path, GenAI competence development, data sovereignty and private AI instance, support in securing funding and brand research in language models.
We are also active in education and research: we publish analysis of the market, technology and law.
In 2025 the Foundation published the report “Artificial Intelligence in Construction and Industry 2026–2040”, the first study of its kind on the Polish market. It described the applications of artificial intelligence and the horizon of change to 2040 in logistics, prefabrication, installations and HVAC systems, facility management, technical supervision and safety management. For each area it identified the processes with the highest potential, the conditions for implementation and the risks, including regulatory ones. Published in Polish, English and German, it moved the discussion of artificial intelligence in these sectors from the level of tools to the level of board decisions.
Statutory objectives
The Foundation’s statute sets out objectives including: supporting industry and construction in digital transformation, promoting the adoption of artificial intelligence, working for the lawful development of its applications, supporting companies in adapting to regulatory requirements, including the AI Act and the GDPR, education and certification, help in securing funding, and promoting ESG standards. The full text is available on the Foundation statute page.
Team and governing bodies
The Foundation is led by a four-member Management Board that combines expertise in digital strategy, B2B sales in industry, law and architecture. Meet the Foundation’s Management Board.
The statute also provides for an advisory body, the Programme Council, and for the status of Foundation Patron for organisations that regularly support its work.

Let’s start with a conversation
If the board is looking for a partner that will also say what not to do, let’s arrange a conversation.
